A spelling game that was originally designed by a monk from the School of Julianos in Anticlere.

It became a widespread commoners' game by the beginning of the Second Era, spreading across Tamriel, with tournaments held all across towns in High Rock, Cyrodiil, and Argonia, and in the cities of Ebonheart, Solitude, Sentinel and Rimmen.

In Argonia, a variant uses Jel glyphs to make entire sentences, with additional points given for Saxhleel idioms.
